Alina Lopez

Andaz Wall Street announce the appointment of Alina Lopez as the hotel’s event sales manager. Lopez comes to the Hyatt with six years of event planning experience, and most recently was in the role of sales coordinator at Westin Times Square. In her new position, Lopez will oversee the corporate and government markets as well as fundraisers.

“We are excited to have Alina join the Event Sales Team and look forward to watching her succeed in this role,” said Andaz Wall Street general manager Tim Meyers. “We know her passion and creativity will be a great asset for the property and the Andaz brand.”

Lopez began her career at the front desk of the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Fla. and then served as the catering sales coordinator at JW Marriott Marquis Miami. At the end of 2014, Lopez made the move to New York City where she held the title of sales coordinator at Westin Times Square. During her time in the latter positions, Lopez had the opportunity to work very closely with the executive teams and received detailed management training in sales and coordination. Additionally, she led the charge on many large-scale projects and events.

“I am excited to be taking on this role in the heart of the Financial District with Andaz Wall Street,” said Lopez. “I’m eager to begin working with my Hyatt family and to take the hotel’s events offerings to new heights.”
