D.C. Area DoubleTree Sold for $50.1M

BETHESDA, Md./WASHINGTON, D.C.

Pebblebrook Hotel Trust announced that it closed on the sale of the 270-room, upscale, full-service DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bethesda-Washington D.C. in Bethesda, Md., for $50.1 million.

Proceeds from the sale of DoubleTree Bethesda will be utilized for general business purposes which may include reducing Pebblebrook’s outstanding debt. The sale of the hotel closed on Nov. 2, 2016.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bethesda offers 13,500 square feet of IACC-certified meeting space, including 16 conference rooms and a 5,650-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 560 guests.
