Situated along the edge of the Austrian Alps is the new Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, which is now accepting bookings for stays starting July 1. This summer, the prestigious establishment will open its doors to travelers seeking a unique blend of luxury and heritage in the heart of Austria near Salzburg—a city often celebrated for its culture and tradition.
Rosewood Schloss Fuschl is set against a backdrop of centuries past, “where the air is infused with the echoes of history” at the alpine escape once exclusively designed for Austrian nobility. The property originated in 1461 as a grand hunting lodge and summer residence for the Archbishop of Salzburg and has since evolved into a premier resort destination on the tranquil shores of Lake Fuschl.
The property’s comprehensive renovation has reimagined the former Hotel Schloss Fuschl to offer 98 elegantly furnished guest rooms including 42 suites and six chalets with world-class dining venues. Asaya, Rosewood’s integrative spa, features an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, eight treatment rooms and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
Rosewood Schloss Fuschl has multiple indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces, including the Festsaal (ballroom), which measures just over 1,150 square feet and can host 80 banquet-style or 120 for a cocktail reception. The property’s Remise + Patio space can accommodate up to 500 standing.
