Detroit’s latest ground-up real estate development, Hudson’s Detroit—a $1.4 billion mixed-use skyscraper operated by full-service real estate firm Bedrock and the second-tallest building in Michigan’s history—transformed the city’s skyline when it was topped off in April.

Hudson’s Detroit continues to solidify itself as the city’s new must-see landmark through Bedrock’s partnership with EDITION, a global luxury lifestyle hotel brand conceived by Ian Schrager in partnership with Marriott International.

The companies will introduce one of EDITION’s largest luxury hotels and residence developments in the world within Hudson’s Detroit, The Detroit EDITION, set to become downtown Detroit’s first five-star hotel when it opens in 2027.

Built on the site of the legendary J.L. Hudson Department Store, The Detroit EDITION will offer four food and beverage outlets, a pool, outdoor terrace, fitness center, spa and more than 16,000 square feet of event space.

Cleveland’s Convention Center is BACK!

Following an 18-month, $51 million renovation project, the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland (HCCC) celebrated its grand re-opening and expansion earlier this summer. The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) was the first to use the newly expanded space at its Annual Meeting & Exposition in August.

Managed by ASM Global, the HCCC now features more than 500,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including 225,000 square feet of exhibit hall space, two ballrooms, more than 50 breakout rooms and a brand-new rooftop terrace.

The 32,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom is the HCCC’s most-private event space, which can be divided into three spaces and features an extensive prefunction space and views of the Cleveland Browns stadium.

The HCCC is also connected to the 600-room Hilton Cleveland Downtown and Cleveland Public Auditorium and Conference Center, which includes a 10,000-seat, stadium-style auditorium. The center is within walking distance of nearly 5,000 hotel rooms.
