Destination Hotels & Resorts (DHR) announced it will manage Lansdowne Resort here. Situated on the bluffs of the Potomac River, this 296 room resort is being added to an already robust portfolio of unique hotels and resorts in the eastern region, including The Madison in Washington, D.C., Wild Dunes Resort at Isle of Palms, SC, Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vt., the Hamilton Park Hotel & Conference Center in Florham Park, N.J.; The Carolina Inn and Rizzo Conference Center in Chapel Hill, N.C., and Tarrytown House & Conference Center in Tarrytown, N.Y.
Located in Northern Virginia's Loudoun County, Lansdowne is ideal for a conference or corporate retreat. It features a 50,000-square-foot conference center, Lansdowne Resort joins Destination's collection of seven IACC-certified properties and The Destination Meeting Collection. Amenities and resort recreation include six food and beverage outlets; an aquatic complex with five pools and a waterslide; three tennis courts; a 12,000 square foot spa, with 13 treatment rooms; and The Golf Club at Lansdowne with 45 holes of golf designed by Robert Trent Jones and Greg Norman.
