The Innov8 Meetings + Events team recently welcomed Lilly Gonzalez to the sales team as its new manager of global accounts. The full-service strategic meetings management company specializes in sourcing, contracting and connecting meeting planners with meeting locations and destinations.
Gonzalez has over 10 years of professional experience in the meetings industry. She started her career working for the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, where she helped procure partners and deliver one of the most recent and successful Academy Award Shows.
Gonzalez then transitioned to hospitality sales working in group sales with the former Marriott Newport Beach (now VEA Newport Beach), where she oversaw corporate, government and association meetings and executed several successful events for her clients. Gonzalez eventually began working in regional sales and oversaw several of Marriott’s key resorts within the Southwest market.
